Front Line Officer - Time Office

Job Purpose

To ensure timely wage processing, maintain manpower data, and efficiently manage time office operations, day to day misc. and allied activities of Time Office operations. Compliance of Statutory obligations.

Job Context & Major Challenges

To keep the wage calculations updated according to the various policies of the government and ensuring timely distribution of the wages. Publish manpower deployment and different cost base analysis.

Key Result Areas

Timely Wage Processing

Ensure on-time wage payments for all blue-collar workforce, OS/Trainees and Apprentices Coordinate with the IT department to facilitate timely wage processing

Applicable labour Laws

Stay abreast of evolving laws and regulations related to applicable labour legislations includes Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) / PF / Employment Exchange etc.

Wage calculations: Ensure accurate and compliant statutory deductions, contributions, and wage calculations for eligible employees.

Making necessary adjustments in alignment with legal requirements/ PF / Employment Exchange etc,

Wage Incentive Calculations

Verify and validate incentive calculations according to company policy

Record accurate data of incentives in

the system to facilitate wage processing

Handling of Various Audits

Preparation of various data to handle different external audit bodies.

Closure of audit comments / NCRs .

Manpower Management

Maintain up-to-date and section-wise manpower data records

Leave Management

Handle daily entry of leave records into the system and manage advance leave payment for workmen Maintain and update the yearly leave ledger, including payment for lapsable leave of workmen

Statutory Compliance

Ensure monthly uploading of ESI and Pension contributions for all concerned employees on the site,

adhering to statutory requirements. Submission the Half-yearly and Annually returns Like, MW, Payment of Wages, Maternity, Principal employer,

Maintained Accident register and upload accident details on the portal as well as submitted the same to Govt. Authorities

Bio-Metric

Take care the Attendance of Workmen, Staff, Contractor labors, Implement the LTS clause to system. SLA with vendor.

Relationship with Govt authorities

To maintain cordial relationship with the external Govt agencies such as ESI authority , Provident Fund authority, Factory Inspectors , Labour commissioners’ office etc.

Welfare Actives

Supervision of all sorts of welfare activities under the provisions of The Factory Act.
